570K views · 20K reactions | Recipe below 👇 SAVE and give these date ‘Snickers’ bites a go because it’s SO much easier than stuffing and dunking dates, not to mention perfect little portion sizes! This delicious recipe combines the natural sweetness of dates with rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter for a delicious and indulgent snack or dessert - heaven in every bite! You’ll need 🧑‍🍳 🔹12 Medjool dates, pitted 🔹1 cup of dark chocolate chips/chunks 🔹12 tsp peanut butter ▫️Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted or using a double boiler. Fill each ice cube mould with a teaspoon of melted chocolate. ▫️Gently press one pitted date into each mould on top of the melted chocolate, then top each one with a teaspoon of peanut butter. ▫️Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the dates in the moulds, ensuring they are completely covered. Place the ice cube mould in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set. ▫️Once set, carefully remove them from the ice cube mould by gently pressing on the bottom of each cube. Serve and enjoy! You could also use the oven or just the pan. Let the pecans cool down completely. 🥧Add all the ingredients (a part from the chocolate) into a food processor and blitz until it forms a dough. 🥧Mould with your hands and leave in the freezer for 20 mins to harden up. 🥧Melt the chocolate and dip the pecan bites in it. 🥧Add a pecan on top as decoration 🥧Freeze again and enjoy. ❄️you can store these in the fridge but I prefer to leave them in the freezer and take them out 10 -20 mins before serving. I prefer their consistency out of the freezer, but this is personal preference 🤗 they are the most delicious and indulgent dessert. 146K views · 12K reactions | The Viral Date Bark 🍫🍫 Okayyyyyyy so I had to try another date trend. This one claiming to taste like Snickers. While I do taste some similarities, I definitely don’t think it’s the same thing. Nothing like my butter stuffed dates that I posted a few reels back. May or may not start a new series where I try out all these date combos and let you know my thoughts 🤭 INGREDIENTS - 15 large medjool dates 1/3 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup chopped peanuts 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 tsp coconut oil Toppings - coarse sea salt, more peanuts, cocoa nibs, etc. DIRECTIONS - 1) Slice each medjool date in half lengthwise and remove the pits if not pre-pitted. 2) Place the halved dates cut-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press gently to flatten them into an even layer. You can do this by adding another piece of parchment paper over the dates and rolling them out with a rolling pin. 3) Using a small spoon, spread a dollop of peanut butter onto each flattened date half. Cover the surface generously but evenly. 4) Sprinkle the chopped roasted peanuts over the peanut butter layer, pressing lightly to help them stick. This adds a satisfying crunch to your bark. 5) In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. 6) Pour the melted chocolate over the date and peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula to ensure everything is fully coated. 7) For an extra touch, sprinkle flaky sea salt, more chopped peanuts, or cacao nibs over the warm chocolate. 488K views · 25K reactions | Chocolatey truffles made from sweet potatoes. This is one of many recipes from my Everyday Recipes cookbook, I'll drop a link in the comments | By Cedar Hills Homestead | You went full homestead and you've only got ingredients in your pantry. Which seemed like a great idea at first but now you've got this unbelievable need for chocolate. But you only have plain baking cocoa and maybe a handful of extra dark chocolate chips. Here's how you're going to make yourself something sweet and delicious that will satisfy even the most hormonal need for chocolate. We'll start with some sweet potatoes. Don't worry I actually don't like sweet potatoes either. Heal those, dice them up, and find some way to steam them. If you can't steam them, boil them, that's fine. It's not preferred but it definitely works. Go ahead and put these your stove top for around 10 minutes. If you dice these into larger pieces, it might take a little longer than that. Once they are fork tender, go ahead and take the lid off and let them cool off just a bit before you put them in a food processor or a blender. You can use a potato masher too, that's fine. You're not going to get quite the same consistency but it'll still be good. I like to blend mine until it is really smooth and it might even start to whip up like a whipped cream. Once it's pureed, add in baking cocoa and some maple syrup. You could also just use honey or sugar if what you have on hand. Melt a half cup of butter and a handful of dark chocolate chips. I like about a half cup of butter for every eight cups of mashed sweet potato. Blend that up really good one more time and then you're going to be left with a frosting consistency. If you're feeling extra feral, go ahead and just enjoy it now. You're going to be pleasantly surprised to find this does not taste like sweet potato. If you do have some self restraint, put it in the freezer for about an hour. Once it starts to firm up, drop it down into baking cocoa and it around. If you've ever made peanut butter balls, you're going to find that these are not quite as solid as those. You're not going to be able to make them quite as pretty or perfectly round but they are so good. I like to freeze mine on baking sheets and then drop them in Ziploc baggies so that way I always have an emergency stash on hand. These are very silky smooth. They will definitely hit the spot when you've got a craving for something sweet and chocolaty. I've posted about making these before, I'm repeating that because they are that good and if you've made these chocolatey sweet potato truffles before, Please tell us how they are in the comment. I want to know if you love them as much as I do.
