When I saw this IKEA hack on Pinterest from @entertainidea, I just HAD to make it and y’all, this greenhouse looks so unique and brings in so much color to my patio. 10/10 would recommend to try it as a summer DIY! 🦋🪻🌷 | tina le mac 🌙 | DIY + home

Let's rework it. So many of us a time or two have been like, what am I going to do with this clothing rack? I don't need this thing. Well, turn it into a beautiful hanging plant station. Super simple. I just gave it a coat of metallic spray paint. I even painted the wheels and then loaded it with big pots and plants and made some hanging situations on the end. This is such a great thing to do for in an apartment, a little space. You want a little plant corner. You want to bring your plants from outside, inside, put 'em in a guest room in the winter and this is how you do it. Make sure with your spray paint, you always line up on the little. give, it a good shake, and then I just gave it a good coat of this metallic spray paint. I love the way it looks 'cuz it really does bring out that brass look. It's not too yellowy gold. It's kind of like a vintagey gold which I really dig and I went ahead and just painted the wheels. Completely painted everything and then, it's just time to have fun and load it full of things. It really makes the perfect movable shelf. So, I put some big pots on the bottom and let's make some little hangers for these pieces of twine or belts. You crisscross it. You put your plant on top and bring all four pieces together. You tie a knot and then you can just hang it with either mount it with a little piece of hook. You can make out of the end of a little hanger or you can just tie it on and that's it. Then, you've got hanging plants. You've got your potted plants and I think it just is a really pretty brass situation. You can put on a front patio if you don't have some place to hang plants. You again, could put it in your office, a studio, if you're in a small space. This is a great way to showcase all of your lovely greens. Happy upcycling.
