Eric Hoffer quote fits like a hand to a glove when concerning the advertisement that Groupon decided to use in the most opportune time such as the Super Bowl XLV to serve to the audience. Tibetan people in 2011 were under cruel dictatorship where there were swarms of armed police there. The people of Tibet lived in fear. So airing the commercial ad for Groupon was a direct source of disrespect. This company at a time was known for charity and support for countries that experience economic challenges Groupon first came into life as a website called The Point whose purpose was to help activists and others organize and raise money for worthy causes. Which draws the questions what was the message in the ad? Ethically it was not apparent that the commercial support Tibet at all, instead it was a mockery of the country and its culture in the same time glorifying Fish Curry.

Initially it was the verity the he was a black man and he was Muslim, but more so than that he was a part of American History, Black History, that I have often heard mention of but never really knew much about, well accept from the Spike Lee’s production, Malcolm X, and although Denzel Washington was a powerful actor the betrayal of the Malcolm X, character nearly scratched the surface of what he stood for beyond the silver screen. This was the most information that I had of him; however as I read the speech it was obvious why I had not gain knowledge of him.

(PSAs) aim to promote adoption from foster care and raise awareness of the significant number of older youth waiting to be adopted. The ad councils chooses to put this ad forward for a few different reasons:
1. There are a number of children in foster care that are in dire need of a chance to grow up as normal adults.
2. The ads seeks adults of all kind and advise them that you don’t have to be perfect person to adopt, you just have to care enough to give a child a chance, and can also provide a stability and security to these deserving children.
3. The commercial ads showing the adults and children enjoying life learning new thing can be a charity, and a heartfelt way to bring happiness into your life.

Initially when it was introduce and put in place in 2007 it served a purpose due to the economic state our country was in at the time; however I feel as though the boundary are overstepped and they are becoming designed to protect the corporations instead of the consumer rights. The CFPB’s core functions include writing and enforcing federal regulatory laws, restricting practices that it deems unfair or abusive, promoting financial education, and processing consumer complaints. (Warren) If this is the case why do new laws and regulation allow consumer agencies, collection agencies allow call to come in at any time of day, and most pose as lawyer offices or judicial magisterial and harass consumer even when they have the wrong number. If this is something that the taxpayer dollar is paying for than we need to do away with it.
