here’s one of the oafs from the previously mentioned summer brood that made it to a fairly late instar. Charaxes jasius can get massive so this guy still had a little while to go, but they don’t change looks again until they pupate. pray the winter brood has better luck than this one did (and/or pupates somewhere more conspicuous so i can finally have a chance at seeing an adult)
