We’re working on potential solutions to ensure you don’t miss out. Stay tuned for an update soon! 🚨 NEW WEBINAR SERIES in collaboration with MoSTFun and Biodiversa+: Essential Biodiversity Variables (EBVs)—Introductory Webinar Biodiversity is changing at an unprecedented rate, and monitoring these changes effectively is crucial for science, policy, and action. Essential Biodiversity Variables (#EBVs) serve as a bridge between raw biodiversity data and high-level indicators, enabling us to track biodiversity change at multiple scales. Join us for a webinar on EBVs, where experts will discuss: ✅ The relationship between EBVs, Essential Climate Variables (ECCs), Essential Ocean Variables (EOVs), and Essential Ecosystem Service Variables (EESVs) ✅ The strengths and knowledge base of EBVs ✅ How different organismal groups and ecosystem characteristics are covered - do they all have EBVs? ✅ How to use EBV data in workflows: from in-situ and remote sensing data collection to integration, modeling, and application 🔎 Why attend? Gain a deeper understanding of how EBVs support biodiversity monitoring, conservation planning, and policy development, including their role in global frameworks like the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (#KMGBF). 📅 Wednesday, April 9, 2025 ⏰ 2PM – 3PM (CEST) 🔗 Register now:  https://lnkd.in/ejhHawRg 🎤 Speakers: Katie Millette, Andrew Gonzalez, Néstor Fernández, Simon Ferrier, Melodie A.
