365K views · 18K reactions | recipe ⬇️⬇️ Ingredients INGREDIENTS 25 Brussel Sprouts Large pinch of Salt TO SEASON 1 tbsp Olive Oil 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp red chili powder Pinch of Salt FOR GLAZE 1/3 cup maple syrup (the real stuff) 1-2 tsp red chili flakes 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 2 tbsp butter HOW TO MAKE IT 1. Coat Brussel sprouts in 2 large pinches of salt and toss. Let it sit for 5 minute while you bring a pot of water to boil. Drop the salted Brussel sprouts the boiling water and boil for 5 minutes. 2. Strain the Brussel sprouts and toss them into iced cold water. Slice each one into two halves. 3. Add the brussel sprout halves to a bowl with 1-2 tbsp olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, red chilli powder and salt. 4. Spread them on a baking tray with no parchment paper, with the center FACE DOWN. Bake or airfry at 400F for about 20-25 minutes. Keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t burn but don’t move the brussel sprouts while they bake. 5. In a bowl, add the maple syrup, red chili flakes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and butter. Microwave until the butter melts completely and stir together. 82K views · 10K reactions | GRANDMA’S CREAMY MUSHROOM ORZO: INGREDIENTS: - 1.5 cups orzo - 3 cups vegetable broth (or broth of choice) - 3 large portobello mushrooms (sliced 1/4 inch thick) - 1 large sweet onion (cut into thick wedges) - 2 cloves of garlic (chopped) - 1 cup heavy cream - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese - salt and pepper to taste - 2 tbsp butter or olive oil THE SAUCE: Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat, add in 2 tbsp butter and your chopped onion. Cook until slightly browned then add in your sliced portobello mushrooms. Cook for additional 2 minutes. Try to get a little sear on them this makes for a really nice meaty texture and flavor for your meal. Then add in your garlic and continue to cook everything together for another 3 minutes or until the onions, mushrooms and garlic are cooked. Step 2: Add in 1 cup of heavy cream. Stir everything together and place lid on your pot. Let simmer for about 2 minutes. Then add in your cup of parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Step 3: In a large pot add your 3 cups of broth. Bring to a rolling boil then add in your 1.5 cups of orzo and cook according to box. About 5 minutes. Strain any excess liquid once finished cooking. Step 4: Add your cooked orzo to your sauce.
