Feast of the Epiphany

The feast of the epiphany celebrates the journey of the Magi, the three wisemen who found the Christ Child. Part of the Catholic liturgical year, it is celebrated on January 6th. It is also known as Three Kings' Day or the Twelfth Night. Traditionally, the three wise men from the East are named Gaspar (or Casper), Melchior and Balthasar and brought the baby Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
