P.s Charz, don't burn the house... | By Kares Kai | Let's make some steam pudding. Okay to a pot I've got two cups of white sugar. We just going to melt that down over a medium to high heat for about five to 10 minutes. Giving it a stir occasionally until it becomes like this. Then to that we going to add 350 mils of warm water. And 250 grams of butter. You can also use margarine for this if you're you know dairy free. For our dry ingredients we've got three cups of self raising flour, two cups of plain flour and one ah two teaspoons of baking soda and we just going to add our wet ingredients to that incorporate that well. Add in our five eggs you can use six or four but five works best for me. And 1third cup of milk. So once this is all incorporated silky smooth like this consistency. We going to pop that in the oven shortly. So stick around for part two. And welcome back to part two of our steamed pudding. We're just adding our creamy mixture into a cake tin that I've just buttered and floured it's got high sides about nine inches but you can use a milk tin baby formula. Just give it a bit of a shake and get those air pockets out. And I'm just covering it with a bit of tin foil before we add it into our oven which we've preheated to 180 to 200, depending on your oven. In a water bath. Half fill a oven tray with water and lock that in. After about an hour forty-5 take it out. Check it with a skewer. If it comes out clean all good. If not pop it back in for an extra 10 to 15 minutes. Um and here we have the end result. Just cutting into that goodness and you can see just I mean the smells mean right now this has come out right now. So please give this a try. Let me know and enjoy
