Comment 30 minutes and I’ll send you my FREE masterclass!! Horizontal highlight foils made me nervous because I never knew what to do at the part. Do I do two back to back foils? Do I space them out, do I leave a veil on each side of the part!? Here’s what helped me: 👉🏼 take a section that includes the hair on each side of the part (about 1.5 to 2 inches on each side) 👉🏼 start on one side of the section and work up through the section, spacing the foils out evenly when you get near the part 👉🏼 I don’t overthink exactly where the part is or a Face Contouring Hair Highlights, Slice And Weave Highlights, Micro Foils Brunette, Best Foil Placement, Horizontal Vs Vertical Highlights, Micro Slice Highlights, Chunky Highlight Foil Placement, Foiling Placement Techniques, Highlight Foil Patterns

Mirella Manelli on Instagram: "Doing this ONE thing changed the way I look at highlights on brunette hair 👇🏽 Foil behind the hairline instead of on the hairline. WHY? Because highlighting brunette hair is different than blonde hair. Brunettes want to still look brunette, so give them that! Highlight behind the hairline so the primary shade is still brown around their face. I know we sometimes to over foil but doing brunette hair is that one time where we need to purposefully not over foil! This entire look took only 20 foils for a full highlight🤯 Formula using @kenraprofessional Beyond Bond Lightener Shadow root with 7N into Beige Rapid Toner for the ends Manny by @hairartproducts use code MIRELLA to save Board by @cooboard use code MIRELLA to save Foils by @framar Ready to Easy Highlights For Brown Hair, Highlights To Frame Face, Highlights On Crown Only, Highlights Sectioning Hair, Contour Highlights Hair, Full Foil Lowlights, Foils On Black Hair, Highlight Patterns For Hair, Highlight Sectioning Pattern

Alfredo Lewis on Instagram: "🔉 ba•lay•age / balāýäZH/ • noun Definition: a technique for highlighting hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way as to create a graduated, natural-looking effect. The word balayage is a French word that means to sweep. It was the first “technique” that I was taught. The first salon that I worked at was a French salon in Beverly Hills in the 90’s. We had over 20 hair color specialists in which ONLY one used foils. My how times have changed! This is still my favorite technique to do, but it’s not for everyone. I used to trip out when people started calling what I call teasy lights, foilayage, slices, and even air touch balayage 😂, but then I realized something. At the end of the day technique names are for the hairstylist not the client. It is our Tip Out Hair Color, V Balayage Technique, Dark Blonde Hair With Highlights Straight, Highlights To Balayage Transition, Highlighting My Own Hair, Fast Balayage Technique, Contrast Hair Color Brunettes, French Balayage Blonde, How To Bayalage My Own Hair
