Front flash photography

Hard direct light does indeed have it's use and purpose, in this episode we'll show you two stylistic ways of using direct flash.

There’s many types of light. I’d like to take a moment to dive into the commonly referenced types, all of which can be achieved with natural light or flash.

This is an example of front light because the light source comes from the top but also directly in front of the subject. The front light source also makes the rest of the frame dark.
