Paint Party--Art Studio

I was determined to keep this party on/under budget as past parties have had a history of going extremely over budget--the party is in the making so I will be adding up until the day of the party. A great resource for this party--THRIFT STORE! I repurposed stuff all items $2-$5 (I utilized teacher 25% off days, 50% off Saturday's, and $1 dollar days)

Van Gogh Goodies! Sign from $1 spot at Target--I spray painted and splattered paint on them with different color block letters from Big Lots. Table filled with candy and treats of all kind. Label cards from small cardstock paper and bosa wood for the easels made by the hubby! M&Ms-Paint in Your Mouth Rice Krispie Treats- Paint Brushes Jellybeans-Paint bubbles Skittles- Painted Rainbow Marshmallows- Paint Buckets Gummy Bears/Gummy Worms- Translucent Painted Gummy Bears/worms Starbursts & more
Freelance Station!!! Winner winner!!! Banner paper $4 @ hobby lobby! I got different sponges from $1spot at Target .
Create Station! Colored construction paper, Halloween coloring papes, crayons, markers, glue, safety scissors, foam flower cut outs, and foam letters for kids to have at it! Crayons hot glued to vegetable can with ribbons--used construction paper, markers, crayons, foam items from my stash and printed coloring pages from google images!
Abstract station! Decorated Pringles and oatmeal cans with paper and ping pong balls. Kids poured a small amount of paint inside shook it up and down then when paper was pulled out abstract art created! All materials from dollar store! Kids hung paintings on fishing line with clothespin
Jack-o-lattern station! Pumpkins masks and scarecrow masks were a hit!!! They also had paper cut out pumpkins with stickers!
Party favors--Oriental Trading paint cans with washable paint, wooden star and sunglasses. Label on washable paint says: You're a rockstar, now go paint the town! The kids also went home with "edible art" from the Van Gogh goodie table as well
Self-Expression Station--the kids main project with Penny the Painter where they completed their own canvas!
Signage for each station...I used the same signage for food and treat table will post later! Easy make grabbed image from Google used sticks from Walmart (.99¢) and styrofoam from Hobby Lobby ($2.99) (they do sell styrofoam at dollar tree as well...which is great snag! I went to dollar tree after the hobby lobby purchase...shucks)
Great snag @ Goodwill for my twin daughters art birthday party! Spray paint from Home Depot and random washable paint we have in the house (my girls love to get messy)! $2! Wooden letters from Hobby Lobby! Sweetness
Party invite created by myself inspired by my Godsissy! This was another budget snip snip! I purchased glossy card stock paper and printed them for free99! Glossy card stock at Big Lots was $5! This party is getting better and better!
Art Studio sign! Snag @ goodwill for $5. Spray painted black and splattered it with random paint I had lying around the house. Goal: stay under budget for birthday party and make hubby happy :) lol
