271K views · 2.4K reactions | Bailey's Chocolate Orange Pots I don't think I've ever shared a recipe that's been made as many times as this one has 🥹 I wanted to share them one last time so you don't have to hunt for the recipe on Christmas Eve! These are the easiest Christmas desserts, you can prep them ahead of time and and they're a great way to use those GU pots at the back of the cupboard 😅 You make these mint instead of orange, just swap for a mint Terry's and leave out the orange zest! I would love to know if you've made these before or you're planning on having the over Christmas! A x Makes 6 chocolate pots 157g chocolate orange 100g dark chocolate 100ml Baileys (or off brand equivalent) 1/2 tsp orange zest 300ml double cream 8 digestive biscuits 25g melted butter Place the digestive biscuits in a freezer bag, crush with a rolling pin until you have a rough crumb Add 25g of melted butter to the crumb and mix well until all of the crumbs are coated. Divide the biscuit between 6 ramekins and press down with the back of a teaspoon. Set aside 6 chocolate orange segments for the topping and put the rest in a microwaveable bowl with the dark chocolate broken into pieces Microwave the chocolate at 30 second intervals stirring each time before microwaving again. When most of the chocolate has melted remove from the microwave and stir until completely smooth, this will stop it overheating and getting gritty. Leave to cool Place 300ml double cream in a mixing bowl and using a hand blender, mix for 30 seconds. Don't do any longer or it will be too thick. Add 100ml of Bailey’s, the orange zest and the melted chocolate and whisk briefly until smooth and one single colour. Divide the mixture between the ramekins and place in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight. Remove from the fridge 15 minutes before needed Place a chocolate orange segment on top of each one before serving #Christmas #chocolate #dessert #easyrecipe #recipe #christmafood #christmasideas #cosy #homemade #comfortfood #familyfoodideas #simplerecipe #chocolateorange #sundaylunch | Amy Sheppard Food
I stopped going to the ice cream shop, now I make it at home with 3 ingredients and spend very little | By Poor in the kitchen tips | Stopped going to the ice cream parlor. Now I make it at home with only three ingredients and spend very little. In a mixer container we're going to add 400 grams of whipped cream mix. Now on top we are going to add 395 grams of condensed milk. We're going to put the mixer on now and beat it very well until we reach the ideal consistency. And that's it folks. It's ready. Now let's take out the mixer. And here I am going to add a little bit of chocolate powder, five to eight tablespoons. I'm using 50% chocolate powder. But you can make the flavor of your choice using any flavouring powder or even fruit. Add vanilla essence or grated coconut. It's totally up to you. I'm going to add a little bit more here. In total I have used eight table spoons. It's all ready. Now just take it and transfer it to the container of your choice. Mine yielded one and a half jars. Just put it in the freezer until it freezes. And now folks look how delicious it is. Do it at home. I'm sure everyone will love it. It's a super quick and easy recipe that taste delicious. And look at that chocolate ice cream. You can't resist it. I hope you enjoyed it. That was another recipe here from the poor in the kitchen. A big hug. See you next time. It was worth it.
