Okra soup Nigerian Food

Okra. Because this vegetable has some slickness to it, many people think they don't like it. To get rid of 90% of that, boil it first in plenty of water, drain it completely, then cook it with something acidic (usually tomatoes). It's a great natural thickener for soups and stews, too!
Homemade veggie soup. 6 cup water, 6 chicken bouillon cubes, 1tomato/chicken bouillon cube, 2 bags frozen vegetable soup mix veggies, 1 bag okra, 1 minced onion, 4 celery stalks chopped, 1 sm bag corn, 2T minced garlic. Bring to boil, then reduce till veggies tender. So yummy!!!
