Deva, Interior Guide and Drinking Buddy Extrordinaire

My vision: small accent wall in a deep blue/teal color with a small midcentury modern piece of furniture (music cabinet, record console, etc), a chair, and a painting/print to hang over the table (selden gile, Andrew Wyeth?). The rest of the room probably needs to be painted in a neutral-ish color with a couch (tan leather? grey tweed?), an interesting lamp and a new overhead light fixture. In an ideal world, I'd like the colors of the living room, entry way and half bath to mesh well together.
