WERK. I'm balancing freelance projects for two clients atm. My must-haves for a productive day: coffee a "healthy" snack (usually a granola bar) essential oils the Forest app to keep me from checking my phone when I should be writing coffee background piano music to help me focus Trello a cat in my lap a giant bottle of water to keep me hydrated because I drink too much coffee [edited with the Minimal preset from @dananicoledesigns]

And probably only about 30% of those things ended up being life-giving or fruitful or fulfilling or whatever-you-want-to-call-it. Maybe I should have just said "no" instead. But if I had if I had said "no" to all of those commitments projects assignments roles etc. I wouldn't have learned the things I've learned about 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Things are about to get real nerdy up in here: Freelancers remote-workers WAHMs etc. 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀? ... (#notanad) Every morning before I settle into work I listen to a Shine talk while I'm taking my vitamins and pouring my coffee. And then after a couple of hours of work I take a 15 min break and either listen to a Headspace meditation or to another Shine talk. I was (very) skeptical about mindfulness apps at first but fig
