618K views · 88K reactions | I struggled using this disc, but i figured an easier way! 1. Wrap the Cake Disc: Double-wrap your cake disc with cling wrap. 2. Apply Buttercream or Ganache: Add a dollop of buttercream or ganache on the side of the disc that will go on top of the cake. 3. Place the Disc and Ice the Cake: Position the disc on the cake and ice as usual. 4. Refrigerate: Place the cake in the refrigerator until it is firm. 5. Remove Cling Wrap: Gently unwrap the cling wrap from around the cake. 6. Detach the Disc: Carefully flick off the disc from the top of the cake. This will help keep your cake clean and create a smooth, professional finish. Try it this was way next time! follow for more cake tips and tricks! #cakeoftheday #caketutorialsdaily #cakehack #caketip #cakevideo #cakeguide ##cakereelsideas #caketutorials #cakedecorating #cakesofinstagram #caketutorialsandvideos #beginnercakedecorator #caketutorialsonline #instacake #cakedecoratingvideos #cakevideos #caketutorials #cakehacks #caketips #caketipsandtricks #caketutorialvideos #caketricks #caketricksandtips | January Montiague

2M views · 20K reactions | Red Velvet Cake! | Here's my quick and easy way of making a red velvet cake. 😋 | By Jennifer Hart Williams | Here's how I made my red velvet cake from Box Cake Mix. If you don't like using Box Cake Mix, then this recipe isn't for you. This recipe allows for you to cut down on a few steps and still get an amazing cake. You're going to start off with your Duncan Heinz Butter Golden Cake Mix. You're going to use two boxes of those and that should get you approximately four layers. Next, we're going to add in our butter. Make sure it's at room temperature and soften really Next, we're going to add in all of our eggs and then I'm going to pour in one cup of buttermilk. While you're adding in everything, make sure everything is really getting combined well. I added in my vanilla flavoring, vinegar, and cocoa. This recipe calls for two bottles of red food coloring and once everything is mixed really well, it looks like this. You're going to flour and grease your pan and you're going to bake in a oven, preheated oven of three fifth at about 25 minutes. I'm going to cut my pecans really finely to go inside of the icing and for the icing, I'm going to use one box of powdered sugar, a eight ounce of cream cheese, and one stick of butter. I mix my icing by hand because I don't want to overmix it. You're going to combine everything really well and then add in about half of your pecans. Let your layers of cake cool for about 10 minutes and once they've cooled, you can begin to add the icing to each layer. This will make four layers and once you get all of your icing on your cake, you have the option of adding pecans to the top or not but I love the pecans to the top. This cake is so moist and good. You guys should try it.
