Arne Jacobsen's Swan Chair

The Swan chair was one of a number of designs made by Arne Jacobsen for his modernist masterpiece, the Royal Hotel (now the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel), in Copenhagen. Elegant and simple, the little Swan is a versatile piece that lends itself both to the bedroom and the boardroom. It's soft, comfortable curves is more conducive to inspired thinking than the average lounge chair.

It’s hard to believe this chair was designed back in the 50s, it still has such a modern and timeless appeal and could suit any commercial or residential interior. I am thinking of using these chairs for a commercial project within the waiting and reception area. They exude class, sophistication and immediate appeal. I’ve also heard they’re quite comfortable.
