This shows validation of human emotion which in turn encourages healthy expression of emotions in children. The different feelings have been coloured using crayons. In Reggio Emilia, child centred learning is encouraged to aid in development of the children in all domains. There is a representation of "100 languages of children". Children have the ability to express themselves in more than one way.Loris Malaguzzi, founder of the Reggio Approach describes the many ways that children can: express, explore, connect their thoughts, feelings and imagination. Children have the ability to express themselves in more than one way.
