Calder sculpture art lesson

Students studied the life and work of American sculptor, Alexander Calder. They looked specifically at his "stabile" and wire sculptures. Students used photographs as references for creating their own 3-D "drawings" made of wire. Wire manipulation and connection techniques were taught and practiced.
