1. Print/download the powerpoint the night before lecture.

2. Do a brief overview of the slides and get yourself familiarized with the topic before you learn it in class.

3. During lecture, use your slides and take personal notes (not just everything the professor says) on the side of the page using color pens. Using color pens or highlighter helps you remember better.

4. Start studying all the slides 1.5-2 weeks before the exam date. Make sure you have plenty of time to study all the lectures. 

5. 1-2 days before the exam, start reviewing the materials. This time it’s a quick review bc by this time, you already did a through review and just needed some refresher.

The best tip I have ever got when studying for my PMP exam was to invest more time in practice tests. I would say that it also expediates the learning if you read the guides first, then attend a training, then take as many practice tests as possible- while trying to understand which areas you don't yet master. A full recap before exam day and you should be ready to ace your exam.
