Sparkle in hair

Instagram has been flooded with images of glittering hair and sparkle-splashed roots as women adopt and adapt the shimmering hair trend made famous in the 90s.

To create the look, Hanlon first sprayed the hair with a shimmery, pastel-colored hair spray, which served as a base for the sparkle. Then, he painted a loose glitter in a similar shade onto the hair, making sure the ends were more heavily-coated with shimmer than the mid-lenghts. The roots were left untouched.
