You can use this design to make an advent gift for your loved ones, hiding a favorite photograph, gift cards, tickets, seed packets or thin ornaments inside a pocket to be opened each day. There are two spreads for each pocket to write notes, create art or give instructions or details. One spread can be seen, and one spread is also hidden until the pocket is opened. There is also a second secret pocket on every page for additional surprises! I really love this design and found it very fun to create. You will use one bag for every pocket you want. I love this craft because you can have fun with the sizes of the card, the colours of the threads, the colours of the beads & all the directions you take the threads in. For this craft, I used two different colours of our threads, three different bead colours, & then I bought some self adhesive gold stars to finish the card off & give it that sparkle ✨... It's super easy for a child to do this craft, & I guarantee that they'll love the threading & lacing elements. I'm going to try a version of this with multicoloured beads next time to inject some more bright colours into it as much as I love this one. The only thing I didn't mention was the single hole punch. If you don't have one already, they're great little tools to have in your craft cupboard. I think they're less than £5 to buy, & you never know when it will come in useful. More than you think maybe!
