Ingredients: For the Burgers: 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio) 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper ½ tsp garlic powder 4 slices American cheese 4 burger buns (toasted) 1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns) Toppings: 4 lettuce leaves 4 slices of tomato 4 slices of red onion Dill pickle slices ¼ cup ketchup ¼ cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp yellow mustard Instructions: Prepare the Patties: Divide ground beef into four equal portions and shape into round patties. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the Burgers: Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes on each side. Add cheese slices on top during the last minute of cooking to melt. Toast the Buns: Spread butter on the insides of the buns and toast on the skillet until golden brown.

Ingredients: For the Burgers: 1 lb ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat) 4 slices cheddar cheese 4 brioche burger buns 1 medium onion, sliced 1 large tomato, sliced 4 lettuce leaves 2 tbsp mayonnaise 2 tbsp ketchup 1 tsp mustard 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper to taste For the Fries: 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries 2 cups vegetable oil for frying Salt to taste Instructions: Prepare the Fries: Soak potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat dry. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry potatoes in batches for 3-5 minutes, remove, and set aside. Refry for 2 minutes until crispy. Drain and salt. Cook the Patties: Mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
