Watch Your Mouth [Unloved #18]
If they ever remake the Moai faces, I'd like to propose this design. Necklace made from polymer clay.
Where Are You? [Unloved #17]
Inspired by the Lovecraftian creatures from The Sinking City. Necklace made from polymer clay.
Wiindigoo [Unloved #16]
Before Hannibal, before Papa Jupiter, there was ... the Wiindigoo. The Wiindigoo (or Wendigo) has been a part of Algonquian folklore for likely thousands of years, but the first written mention only came in the 17th century, from a French missionary named Paul Le Jeune. Necklace made from polymer clay.
What An Angel [Unloved #15]
Before the fall. Necklace made from polymer clay.
So Happy [Unloved #14]
Inspired by the colours of the Jamaican flag, and locs. On the topic of locs, I watched Across the Spiderverse a few months ago and Spiderpunk was sooo cool, the artists really went ham animating him. Necklace made from polymer clay.
Good Boy [Unloved #13]
I was going for a design based on a square face, but I think the 'abstract' aspect fell out of my hands. I'm not sure how much I like the colour palette / face.
Cracked [Unloved #12]
Mauled by predators. Necklace made from polymer clay.
Belulu [Unloved #11]
I don't remember if I designed this after seeing a picture of a beluga whale, or of that albino cyclops shark caught off the coast of Mexico. Both have pretty bulbous foreheads. Necklace made from polymer clay.
Hallow's Eve [Unloved #10]
Halloween has a pretty interesting history behind it, with roots stretching way back to the 4th century. I think the first time I heard it referred to as "All Hallow's Eve" was in the Magic Treehouse #30. Takes me way back ... Necklace made from polymer clay.
Precursor [Unloved #9]
Tropical alien.
Hug Me [Unloved #8]
The beak was inspired by the Shoebill stork. Very peaceful despite its appearance. Necklace made from polymer clay.
Idol [Unloved #7]
Inspired by indigenous Mesoamerican headdresses and the Saiga antelope, a real creature that looks like it walked straight out of Star Wars. Polymer clay necklace.
The Watcher [Unloved #6]
Guardian of the mythical creatures that dwell in the forest.
Sumo Mech [Unloved #5]
I was watching a documentary on H.R Giger and an artwork of his appeared that inspired this. It was reminiscent of the Great Sphinx in some ways, but I don't know what the original work is called. I think I saw it again in his Necronomicon.
