💖 Even when your teen stops pursuing you, you continue to pursue them! 💪
Never stop pursuing your teenager 🚀 Even when your teenager gives you: The eye roll 🙄 The arm shrugs with no response 💁‍♂️ Cringes when you give them a kiss 😘 The body stiffening when you hug them 🤗 Embarrassed by you participating in events with them 🙈 The cold shoulder and holes up in their dungeon of a room 🏰 Says no when you ask to hang out or spend time together ❌ By continuing to pursue your teenager, you reinforce the message that your love for them is unconditional and unwavering, regardless of their response or behavior. This demonstrates your commitment to maintaining a strong and loving relationship even during times when your teen seems distant or unresponsive. Your teen has a sense of SECURITY and REASSURANCE that no matter what, their mom will always be there. 🌟
Learning Your Teenagers Love Language
"Gosh, I do everything for you and you just don’t care.” Find yourself saying this to your teenager? It is so hurtful when you attempt to demonstrate love and support to your teen and you are met with being ignored, dismissed, or attitude. 💔 Why does this happen? Typically it’s because you are not speaking their unique and specific love language. Every teen is unique in how you encourage, motivate, support, and demonstrate love. Not one teen is the same. 🌟 If you knew your teen’s love language, connection with their teenager would be a hell of a lot easier! 💕 One of my favorite tools I offer in my group parenting course is my 5 Love Languages for Teen’s guide where I give you specific examples on how you can demonstrate love that is unique to your teenager.
