molly :) on Instagram: "extra floof for minimal effort? sign me up!! ✨ more tips & details: • I’ve found that it’s nice to make the front half of the skirt 1” shorter than the back to account for booty haha • you can make each tier however tall you’d like, but I’ve noticed that I prefer the look of each one getting longer as they go down • it isn’t required, but a serger is super helpful for finishing all of the raw edges after you connect each tier! alternatively, you could do a zig zag or overlock stitch if your machine is able to :) • I do a 1/4” rolled hem on each edge of tier 1 before attaching tier 2 so that I don’t have to worry about it later as always, please let me know if you run into any questions!
