Buzz through spring with the Bee Pollination STEAM Activity! Now that more and more bees are coming out after the cold winter, it's the perfect time to teach children about how bees and flowers help each other out to accomplish each other's goals: Flowers getting pollinated and bees gathering nectar for honey. Children will enjoy flying their little bee buddies around and helping them gather pollen to deliver from flower to flower. Pollinating Plants... With Kool-aid?!? Sometimes teaching about plants can be difficult to make it hands on without an actual plant. Sometimes as much as I wish I did I just don't have a green thumb. That doesn't stop me from finding some way to make it engaging and hands-on for the kiddos! One way that I do this is by teaching children about the life cycle of plants. When I teach about the life cycle we take a pause and discuss pollination. I pull out the cotton balls cupcake cups and kool-aid Pollinating Plants, Life Cycle Of Plants, Pollination Activity, Plant Lessons, Cupcake Cups, Second Grade Science, Plant Activities, First Grade Science, 4th Grade Science
