PATTERNED SILK & FAILLE DINNER GOWN, c. 1888
2-pc floral patterned silk in cream & olive floral on twill ground, cream & gold lame thread looped ribbon trim & embroidered appliques to cuff, fine taupe faille SH puffs, ruched cuff & CB skirt panel into train, bodice B 34”, L 15”, skirt W 24”, L 41”, (tiny-0.5” light stains seat, few scattered tiny stains & pulls throughout, light wear cuffs & Wband, minor discoloration along crease lines of skirt, many stains & holes underarm lining) Excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
