I used left over paint from my eldest son’s room to paint the panelling and the pink paint was £22 (Dulux blush pink). Total project cost £65.94 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I obviously caulked and had a few tools but these I already had to hand and it doesn’t cost a lot if you wanted to do it yourself. And yes I would absolutely do it again ☺️…. I used two of the B&Q £18 panelling kits plus two trim pieces which were £5 each (also B&Q).

It's made such a difference in here and I love the colour it's painted in - Hardwick White by Farrow and Ball.

My biggest regret is not adding this sooner!

Becky Clarke on Instagram: "Landing most Asked… Size Guide I’ve received so many questions about the size and what type of moulding and dado we chose for this space. I thought I’d share the exact dimensions for one of the walls. We adjusted the sizes slightly of the panes (where necessary) but kept the height of the dado and surrounding spacing consistent for the landing and hallway. We also chose a 10cm gap around all the mouldings for uniformity, this is the same gap size as our bedroom too. I hope this helps if you’re planning to create a similar look in your home! Measurement of wall: W: 122cm Measurement of panes: W: 46cm x H: 74cm Surrounding gaps on all sides: 10cm Height of dado rail: 108cm (This dimension is taken from the floor) Happy new week, Becky xx #panelling

Jodie Smith on Instagram: "• W a l l P a n e l l i n g • Edwardian Dado Rail (66mm height x 18mm depth) Gemini Mouldings (35mm height x 18mm depth) Both from @skirting4u *gifted Begin by working out the height you want your dado rail to sit, we opted for 90cm (from the floor to the bottom edge of the dado) and our ceiling height is 2.4m. Then use a level to ensure the dado rails sits level around the room. We are using the @hilti 30MG laser level here. Next, cut your dado to length and scribe any internal corners, before using adhesive to stick and then pin it to the wall. Once your dado is secure, divide each wall into panels and cut the Gemini mouldings to the specific lengths. We pre-made each panel, before attaching them to the wall, to ensure each frame is perfectly square.
