Animal Cell Structure (Part 2) :D

The rough endoplasmic reticulum is a membranous structure that associates closely with the nucleus. In the membrane of the structure are ribosomes, this is what gives the "rough" appearance.
Process of the protein: Here is the central dogma of biology. explaining the production of the protein.
Mitochondria: Oxygen combines with glucose to form energy (ATP) required for metabolism and cellular activities in this organelle.
Additional Functions: 1) Regulation of the membrane potential 2) Apoptosis-programmed cell death 3) Regulation of cellular metabolism 4) Certain heme synthesis reactions
Function of Nucleus: - The nucleus contains hereditary materials known as chromosome, acts as a control centre for cell activities and also controls cell division.
Is a membrane-enclosed organelle found in eukaryotic cells. The cell nucleus contains the majority of the cell's genetic material in the form of multiple linear DNA molecules organized into structures called chromosomes.
The primary function of ribosomes is synthesis of proteins according to the sequence of amino acids as specified in the messenger RNA. The structure of ribosome consists of two subunits, each of which contains RNA and proteins.
