Crispy Mini Blooming Onions in Air Fryer Recipe
🧅🍽️ Crispy Mini Blooming Onions in Air Fryer Recipe 🍽️🧅 📝 Ingredients 🧅 4 small onions (yellow or sweet) 🍚 1 cup all-purpose flour 🍳 2 large eggs (beaten) 🍞 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works well for extra crispiness) 🌶 1 tsp paprika 🧄 1 tsp garlic powder 🧂 Salt and pepper (to taste) 🥛 ½ cup milk (for egg wash) 🧈 Olive oil spray (for air fryer) 📋 Instructions Prepare the onions: Peel the onions and cut off the top (stem end). Leave the root end intact to hold the onion together. Carefully slice the onion into wedges, stopping about ½ inch from the root so that the wedges remain attached, creating a “blooming” effect. Gently separate the layers of the onion with your fingers.

It’s a great way to use up some onions, but more than that, it’s a great way to give your food a major flavor upgrade! And since the onions marinate in the oil and vinegar, they aren’t very pungent :) Just tangy and delicious! You can keep these on the counter at room temp for up to 4 days, though I am positive that they won’t last that long. Comment ‘LINKS’ if you want a link to my jars and handheld mandolin - I will DM you now! 2 red onions, peeled and sliced very thin 1/2 cup olive oil 4 tb red wine vinegar 1 tb dried oregano 1/2 tsp kosher salt Peel and slice onions very thin. Next, add the sliced onions to a bowl and toss with olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano and salt. Toss to combine, then transfer to an airtight container. I learned this in Texas | I learned this in Texas I make deciciuos baked onions everyone is sure to love! | By Kailee’s Kitchen | Adding about a cup of vegetable broth right into my sliced onions. Grabbing a stick of butter. And just opening that up. I'm going to place these butter squares right on top of these onions. You guys wait until you see this delicious side dish. I learned in Texas. Oh my gosh you guys I was there. I had this at a local spot. And I just I loved it. It's so simple. So easy. Look at that. We just put a stick of butter on there and now we're going to come in with a little bit of black pepper and we're going to season on top of that butter and those onions just like that. Yum. Yes, exactly what I'm saying. A little bit of coarse sea salt and I'm just going to drizzle that all over the top there. Yummy. Okay you guys. Next we're grabbing some onion powder. Whoops. And just sprinkling that all on top of these sweet onions. So just so you know I did get the sweet onions. You could use any kind you like. I have found though that the sweet onions work the best. And a little bit of garlic powder. Same thing. I'm just going to sprinkle that right on top. Look at how easy that is. Now we have some mozzarella cheese. And I'm just going to do the same thing. We are coating these onions right here with this mozzarella cheese. Ooh you guys these wait until you see this. It's like I can't believe that I have not known this for so long. Adding just a bit of some sharp cheddar cheese right on top of that mozzarella because we are making these cheesy onion baked dish that is to die for. Of course, we cannot forget the Parmesan which here I have a little bit of a blend and we're just going to put that all right on the top. Whoa, you guys. These are going to be so cheesy, nice, and roasted. They're going to have so much flavor with that seasoning. The butter, the vegetable broth. Yum. Alright. Last step, some parsley and we're going to sprinkle that all over the top. Look at how pretty that is. The green just goes ahead and brings all the cheese and white of the onions together. Fabulous. Fabulous. Bam. There we go. Alright. Look at how beautiful that looks and even more importantly how easy it was. All we're going to do now is we're going to pop this in the oven at three fifty. We're going to cook it for at least 35 minutes. I really want those onions to get nice and tender and just kind of juiced up with that vegetable broth and the butter and all the cheese and the seasoning and then I'm going to show you guys just how good these are. This is going to be your new favorite side dish. I swear. Wow. Look at these onions. Oh my goodness. I cannot wait to try these things. I am going to come right here up front. They're so tender and they smell so good. Oh my gosh. I'm just going to cut a chunk right here. Ooh look at that cheesy goodness. Yummy. Let's put those right on there you guys. Have you ever had roasted onions with cheese as a side dish. Would you? I am all about it. Is that weird? It's like scalloped onions. Like you know what? You're exactly right. So I'm going to take this cheesy part. I'm going to put it with some of these onions. Cheese and onions can't go wrong. Mm cheeses. Sorry babe. Cheese and onions. Thank you Texas. Alright. You see these things what you learn when you travel around and you get to eat all these different kind of food. Meet all these different kinds of people. Oh my gosh it's hot. Ooh you know why it kind of reminds me like French onion soupish. Otherwise, it might not seem like much but this is full of flavor and it is so good. Would you eat this as a side dish? Have you ever ate this in Texas? Let us know. Yee haw.
