2,937 likes, 16 comments - twisted_clay on July 23, 2022: "Trimming this pot is a little different than the previous form as it does not have a flange pushed in the side. Instead I cut at an angle when removing the top in order to trim a gallery onto the piece. This does make for far less centering and of course trimming. Since you trim the gallery right where the lid is going to fit, it tends to fit just right without trying too hard.".

When you don’t feel like mixing plaster to make a humid box, a good old plaster bat and a bucket will do the work: Soak the plaster in water and place in airtight container with the dry pots.
