Dana Carpenter | Houseplant care on Instagram: "Trailing plants looking a bit scraggly or bald on top?? Try this simple solution! 👇👇

All you need are bobby pins or hairpins! 🙌

Instead of letting long vines hang and make your plant look imbalanced, wrap them around the top of the pot to instantly create a fuller appearance. Use bobby pins to secure the nodes (those little bumps where roots and leaves form) into the soil!

Over time, the nodes will take root, absorbing moisture and nutrients to strengthen the plant and encourage new growth.

Just keep watering and fertilizing as usual. Can you believe the difference 5 months made for my golden pothos?!

Save this post to try it with your trailing plants! And share it with a fellow plant lover!! 🪴💚
