smalltowninfluencer on Instagram: "If i teach you one thing, please let it be this!! I was enough to participate in a cooking class that taught us this method. Start by seasoning your chicken breast however you like, but season them well. Add a bit of evoo to your pan and heat on medium. Add your chicken, do not move it, let it cook for 5 minutes, set your timer. After 5 minutes, flip it,, add about a cup of water and cover. Leave the heat on for 2 minutes (4 minutes if the pan is thin and chicken is larger) turn the heat off and let sit for 15 minutes. SET TIMER AND NO PEEKING. remove from pan and rest for a few minutes, then use however you wish. #chickenrecipes #easydinner #mealprep #kitchenhacks"

Nicole Keshishian | KALEJUNKIE® on Instagram: "@kalejunkie BIG BATCH QUICK MARINATED ONIONS 🤗 I have been making my own marinated onions for years now! It’s a great way to use up some onions, but more than that, it’s a great way to give your food a major flavor upgrade! And since the onions marinate in the oil and vinegar, they aren’t very pungent :) Just tangy and delicious! You can keep these on the counter at room temp for up to 4 days, though I am positive that they won’t last that long.⁣ ⁣ Comment ‘LINKS’ if you want a link to my jars and handheld mandolin - I will DM you now!⁣ ⁣ 2 red onions, peeled and sliced very thin⁣ 1/2 cup olive oil⁣ 4 tb red wine vinegar ⁣ 1 tb dried oregano⁣ 1/2 tsp kosher salt⁣ ⁣ Peel and slice onions very thin. So obviouslyyyyy crispy rice is my thing now, but I saw this idea for “scorched rice” on @thefeedfeed, which is similar to crispy rice but you make it in a pan with butter and it gets crispy, while retaining some chewiness, so I figured it would be the perfect base for my loaded chicken gyros bowl! My best friend told me to make more easy & effortless meals for my busy moms like her 👑 yes ma’am ✍🏽✍🏽 Y’all loved the smothered chicken breasts in the crockpot, so here is a different way to do it with the drumsticks. So I have a few pointers in case this prep seemed like too many steps: -the onions and peppers aren’t necessary, I just love them. But you can buy them pre-cut. -also instead of fresh onions and garlic, you can use onion powder and garlic powder. -The Lipton onion soup mix is good too. I put half the packet in the gravy and half on top. -your rosemary doesn’t have to be fresh, go buy a jar of dried rosemary -f
