This one turned out super cute. Y’all enjoy | By The Creative Loft by Lisa | Hi everybody. It is Lisa with The Creative Loft by Lisa. And today we're going to start out with this project. We're going to do a heart. I'm not sure what size of heart it is. But we're going to paint that heart in acrylic paint and paint it white. This bag I got from Dollar Tree and I actually found this bag. I looked through the window and I found it behind one of the shelves. So I manipulated and I got that little bag out from behind there. And I thought it was pretty. I thought the pattern was pretty. So I'm going to lay another heart on top of it so I can trace it out. And I get my I'm just going to take one of my little markers since I have them out there and trace it around. And we're just going to cut that out. It was pretty easy to cut. It wasn't like a burlap material. It was kind of like a plastic almost feel material. So it was pretty easy to cut out and it didn't fray or anything like that. So we're going to put that down and I'm going to use a generous amount of Mod Podge because it is a thick material. So going to get all that brushed on there. Had to add a little bit more there. And then once I get it on there I'm going to just place my little heart the best you can on there. And y'all can see above there one of those little hearts that it didn't quite fit. But we fix it right here I try to fix it. But then you'll see me like forget it. Just forget it. And we do get it disguised a little bit later and it looks fabulous. So anyway once we get that on I'm going to put down a generous amount of Mop Podge on the top of this. And I did put some parchment paper underneath this little heart because we're going to diamond dust this heart. So I lay a generous coat of diamond dust down on it and y'all know diamond dust is glass. So I put a piece of parchment paper down and rub it and try to get as much of those particles stuck as possible. Dried up Looks so glittery and shiny. And then from here I'm going to take my little gator sander and we're going to sand around and get any excess material we might have off of around that heart. Then we're going to come in with just brown ink and we're going to go around the edges of this heart. And this is where it gets disguised. The little part that we missed gets disguised. And I even disguise it a little bit more here with my little markers. Then I'm going to Take this polka dot ribbon from Dollar Tree and we're going to kind of catty corner it on this heart. We're going to cut it off. And then you do see me. I do make two bows for this project. One's going to go on top of the other. The first one is just that little thin Walmart ribbon that I've been using for Christmas projects that I really love and I actually use the last of it on this project. And a little bit of jute ribbon. So I get those tied together. I made some loops. Got those tied together. I'm leaving the tails on there. And then I take polka dot ribbon and I just make a simple bow, double bow here. I'm going to get all that tied together and then I'm going to cut off just a little piece of the same ribbon and we're going to put it face down on the back so we can make so we can have some tails for the our bow. Then I'm just going to dovetail those little tails off. Kinda get it fluffed out. I'm going to grab my other little bow that I made and kind of trim that up and put it on top of that and we're going to just tie the those bows together. Get it real tight there. Once we do that we're going to come in and we're going to find our placing and I decide to just kind of place it kind of down a little bit more. And get it all down and get it glued down. And I do have some red hearts that I painted. Some little tiny red hearts. We're going to use that as an embellishment. And I've got some more here that I've got. And we are going to use those as well. So once we get that on I'm going to polka. that one in the middle. And I'm even going to polka. our little hearts that we put on or around our other little spaces here. So once we get that done I wanted a little greenery in it. You didn't have to put greenery and you want it if you wanted to. This is just my preference. And then I go ahead and take it off the rest of those little hearts. And y'all this was the finished project. Y'all go and follow along. The Creative Loft by Lisa for more little simple projects like this.

9.8K views · 361 reactions | Ironing Decoupage Wrapping paper | My favorite way to decoupage! Grab your iron! Be sure to save a few pieces of wrapping papper! | By Refresh Restyle by Debbie Westbrooks | Hey guys who's got some leftover wrapping paper that they really like but they don't really need it me that would be me and y'all this one is I think it was a dollar anyways got this old fashioned looking Santa on here so I grabbed one of our house cutouts and then I just used my fingers to kind of form the design of the house and now I'm cutting cutting it out and cutting it a little bit bigger than the house itself Now you could use a pencil to draw that out on the back and then cut it. But of course I never know where my pencils are. So I just use the method of kind of press pressing around and you know transposing the size on there. And now grab your favorite Modge Podge. And I'm using a gloss and I'm making sure that I put you know a liberal amount on here and then I'm going to dry it. Um And the reason I'm going to dry it is because I don't know about y'all but I hate wrinkles in my designs. So I'm going to lay the area that I cut out of the wrapping paper down on the house. Then I'm laying a piece of parchment paper on it and then I grab my iron and you just just use a regular iron and I did remove the parchment paper a couple times just to check it. And my iron is on high. So this is super simple. And make sure you press around the edges really well and anyway it comes out super smooth and this is in my opinion fast so then I'm just taking a sanding block and then I'm sanding from the house outward just to get the excess off and there it is isn't it so cute and I love this old fashioned look anyway so now I'm going to add a little bit of surface wax on here and you know in this wrapping paper Santa is checking his list so I thought the word believe would be perfect on here so I'm going to take my transfer add a little fuzz to the and as you can see I've used this one several times. You can use them, wash them, let them dry, and then use them again. So I'm going to position it kind of towards the bottom. And I'm actually going to do the design in red. So I'm just grabbing some red chalk paste and then I'm going to squeegee all over. It doesn't take much at all. In fact I put a little too much. So I'm going to squeegee off the extra and put it back in my jar. But there it is. Ain't that super cute? Now you could add a bow You can add anything you want. But now that wrapping paper's looking good.
