I usually turn them into jewelry holders, but I thought it'd be fun to add a spot for mail, glasses and keys to this version! 🩷 #TheDIYMommy #thriftfinds #ThriftFlip #upcycle | The DIY Mommy

125K views · 8.4K reactions | Are we ready for Spring & Easter DIYs? ☺️ These Dollar Tree DIY coasters are so easy to make. All you need is mod podge, foam paint brushes, thick printed napkins and dollar tree wood items. My napkins are from Home Goods, they have the best quality. I think the Dollar Tree napkins are a bit thin. ☺️ ⬇️ Instructions: First sand down your wood items. Separate the top layer of the napkin from the white backing. Then add a thin layer of mod podge to the wood item. Gently press the napkin to the wood, making sure not to tear the napkin as it is very thin and it will be slightly damp. Let the top of the wood dry for about 10 minutes before pressing the napkin to the sides and then the back of the item. Let that dry for another 15 minutes or so before carefully cutting off the excess napkin from the back of the wood items. Let everything dry completely (at least one hour) before adding a thin layer of mod podge to the top of the coaster to seal it. Let everything dry completely before using. #dollartreediy #DIY #dollartreefinds #easter #easterdiy #easterbunny #easterdiydecor #diydecor #diycoaster #modpodge | Micah Enriquez

In a saucepan, stir together 3/4 C (180ml) water, syrup, and vinegar and bring to a boil. 2. Combine the cornstarch and remaining 3/4 C of water and then whisk into mixture. Return to a boil and continue cooking for 1 minute. 3. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in airtight container. Best used fresh, but it will last a long time if kept in a cool place. Apply a few layers for this project, allowing the jar to dry fully between each ❤️ Spring is still a bit away, but this is the perfect project for when it finally arrives! | Northwoods Folk

1.7K views · 81 reactions | Dollar Tree Calendar Bookmarks | Let’s use up my stash of Dollar Tree Calendars…up first…bookmarks! #blessingscrafttherapy #dollartreediy #easycrafts | By Blessings Craft Therapy | Let's make some fun bookmarks for the Dollar Tree Calendar. Hey everybody, it's Colette with Blessings Craft Therapy if you didn't know and if you did, thanks so much for coming back. Alright, so I start with this calendar and I have this wicked heavy cardstock I had gotten at clearance. I'm going to use one piece of that. Now, all these little pieces on the back, those little squares, we're going to cut all those out. I'm also going to cut my cardstock to two and a half inches wide. Now, I like a chunky bookmark. If you don't, then, obviously, cut yours accordingly but here we are having all of those little squares now we're going to take the square the little one and we're going to match it to the big or the big image from the calendar and then I'm going to cut that bit I'm just going to do a strip of that big image the same size as our bookmark in this case it's two 1/ 2 inches and then I have some double sided tape and I'm just going to tape the long strip that we just did we're going to tape that onto our cardstock and then I'm going to trim it because you know I can't cut a straight line even when I use a big paper cutter. It's ridiculous. Then we're going to do some more tape on the back of our little image and we're going to center that on the front. We're going to do that for as many bookmarks as you want to make. I round the corners. I'm using it's a we are Memory Keepers edge rounder at man wire words or the edger. Whatever. But look it. I made four different bookmarks. And look how cute right? Now I'm going to use these thermal pouches and I'm going to set them into it. It's just like a folder and so you put them in it and then we're going to put the top piece over it and then we're going to put it through a laminator. Now yes I'm using a laminator. You could use contact paper if you didn't have a laminator. But I have one so why wouldn't I use it? And it's all warm and it's cold out. You know listen. Serves so many purposes. But there it is. They came out. We're going to cut them apart. Um I like to keep that laminate pretty thick around the edges but you do however you want. I did go over and round the edges again. You have to round the edges but then I send it through my laminator again just to make sure that it's on there and look at how pretty look at so fun I love bookmarks I don't know about anybody else but bookmarks yes please and thank you I use them in my bible I use them in my planners it's awesome then we're going to pop a whole in the top and I do this for each of my bookmarks and then I'm putting some ribbon in it now this happens to be like I guess like organza ribbon I'm just folding it in half, putting it through the hole, and then pull the tails through. And look at how pretty. But you know I can't stop there. I actually added a little bead on the top and holy Toledo. Now I did a whole different thing for each one. You could go simple. You could go fancy. Whatever you want. But I liked the bead situation on this one for whatever reason. I was feeling a little froggy. So I jumped. Is that even I don't even know if that's the right way to say that. But ways. Look at here's another one. We put different ribbons on it. We have this one with lace. I mean come on. These are so much fun. And yes my children already snagged them. Anyways friends. Thanks so much for watching and I hope this inspires you.
