Dollar Tree Crafts & DIY with Instructions! + Freebies! 🥳 | Just finished my beehive and Bee from DT and I’m happy with how it turned out | Facebook
Beehive Door Hanger DIY | In case you missed it. Beehive Door Hanger DIY | By We Craft Around | Hey everybody it's Beth. I grabbed one of these beehive wreath frames from Dollar Tree as well as some of their nautical rope. I only ended up needing one pack of the nautical rope because I separated it into four different sections and only used two of those sections. So I hot glued it onto the outside of the beehive frame and then just kept wrapping it around. Hawk gluing occasionally as I went. And what I did was wrapped around just the outer part of the frame first. And then went and did each section on the inside of the frame. I also took this honeycomb fabric from Dollar Tree and I added some hot glue to my wreath frame and placed down the fabric just doing sections at a time so I can pull it down and stretch the fabric so it was nice and tight throughout the whole thing. Once it was glued on, I went around and cut off most of the excess fabric and then went back in with some small detailing scissors to get a little bit closer to get the rest of the fabric. Next I'm taking some twine and I hot glue it on the back for a hanger and I try to get on the edge where the frame is so it's sturdier and then take a piece of the fabric and hot glue that on top of each side of the hanger just for extra stability and then take this little bee that I got from Joanne's and I remove the little stake from it and hot glue that to the beehive. And it's a funky shape so I just put some on spots that it touches the frame. And then of course I love my messy bows so I added some different B themed ribbon as well as some wired burlap. And I'm just crisscrossing pieces back and forth in my hands to make an X alternating patterns. Keeping it nice and tight in the center. After I have it nice and full, I take some twine, wrap it around the center and keep that nice and tight. Tie a couple knots and remove the excess. And then the last thing I do is just hot glue that to the top of my frame. That's it for this project. Thank you so much for watching.

It's Colette with Blessings Craft Therapy if you didn't know and if you did, thank you so much for coming back. Alright, so we start with this little wreath that I had gotten at Dollar Tree and this fabric I had gotten at Joanne Fabrics and all I'm going to do is kind of figure out where I want the fabric to be in relation to my wreath and then I'm just going to rough cut it out. Then, I put some glue on the top rung of our wreath and get our fabric on there. Now, I am using it's not a silicone mat but it's like a matte that it doesn't allow the glue to stay. Um and we're just going to glue on the rungs and just keep putting the fabric on the glued rungs. Does that make sense? Glue, put the fabric down. And you'll see this is why I put it on a mat because it the glue will inevitably get messy. And then I just cut off the excess. Now I'm using this yarn I had gotten at Michael's. It's this big fat blanket yarn. Yes I paid the price for it but holy Toledo it's fuzzy and soft and thick and all I'm going to do is each line of this beehive, I'm going to put a line like do glue and then do the yarn and could I have done it with one piece of yarn through the whole thing maybe but it would have made me crazy pants or more crazy pants than I already am. So, I just decided to just do it this way. Then, I was just going to use one full piece and then just outline the whole thing. So, again, same process, glue and then add the yarn. Ta the. Look how pretty. I love it. I love it already. Like without anything else I love it. Look how pretty. But then I remembered my friend Renee. Thank you Renee. Um had given me this beautiful ribbon. And so I cut I think the pieces I had 2 10 inch long pieces. And two five inch pieces of each one. So they're three different patterns. And so I just put this in my bowdabra but really it's just crisscross apple sauce. That's all it is. Just alternate and crisscross them. That's all you're doing. But look at the bees. Oh I love them so much. They're so pretty. Um and then do I like the bodabra? Yes I had gotten mine on clearance. I never intended to use it really. I had it in my closet. And I finally pulled it out and was like where has this been all my life? I love it so much. It makes it just easier. Now I and I'm sure there's somebody out there that knows how to do to use the bowdabra properly. I guarantee you I'm not it right because I stack it then I tie it and then but it's it's in a big stack it's like really thick and so I still haven't figured it out fully but I muddle through I make it work the best that I can so I just tied it and then I tied it on the back in a nice tight knot I'm using jute to tie it you could use ribbon or other string whatever I did glue on a jute hanger and then I just covered it with another piece of yarn And then I glued on our ribbon and that was it. Like look at how pretty this is. It's super light so I'm not worried about the hanger being glued on. But holy moly. This is if you have somebody that loves bees whoo so pretty. Listen. I know I love bees. I am I love it. Anyways friends. Thank you so much for watching and I hope this inspires you.

Dollar Tree Bee DIY | 🐝 Dollar Tree Bee DIY 🐝 | By We Craft Around | Hey guys it's Beth. Today I'll be using these wings from Dollar Tree. This black macrame rope and some burlap. I started by taking the wings and removing just one of the smaller wings with the yellow and black stripe. And then took this wooden circle round. Painted the whole thing with black acrylic paint. And then I'm going to hot glue that to the little wing that I had removed. Just trying to get the placement right for it. And the wings came from Dollar Tree and they were in the the toy aisle. Next I took the two larger wings from it and cut those and I did not remove the whole thing. I just pulled the wire out from both of those. And it's a little hard to see on video. So I took one of the wings and I'm kind of making a heart but one of the sides of the heart is a little bit bigger than the other. And then I just take the other wire from the wing and match it up with the one I bent. Just making sure that they both are about the same. And then I want them to stay closed. So I take my pliers and on the end of one side. I fold it up. The other side I fold it down. So then they hook together and stay closed. And then I take each of those and hug glue around the wire and place down my burlap. And then I just continue that until I have the entire piece of wire covered. And I do that to both of them. After I have it covered, I just cut off the excess burlap. And then around the entire edge, I take the black macrame rope from Dollar Tree and hot glue that around the edge. And I also did one extra layer so it's on the side of like the wire so you don't see it on the edges. And then I take the black macrame rope and go around the little bee body with that. And on the ends of those I just put a little bit of hot glue on the back of the B body and place the macrame rope down on that just so you don't see the frayed pieces of the rope. And then I take a piece of floral wire. And fold the piece of it in half and then cut it. Hot glue one of the ends of the wire and stick a small bead which is also from Dollar Tree right on the end. And I make two of those. And then I hot glue the wires to the back of the bee head. Kind of at an angle away from each other. And then I take black acrylic paint. Paint the whole bead and the wires. And I gave those two coats. Next I take black acrylic paint and a little round sponge brush and make little circles on the inside of both of the wings. And then I take another piece of burlap and cut it down to fit the back of the bee head. And just hot glue that down to cover all of that mess I made. Then I take some twine and wrap it around this square piece. I usually wrap it around my hand to make my twine flowers but I wanted it larger. So this is about a four by four. Wrap it around a bunch of times. And tie a piece around one of the sides. Pull it off the wood piece. I pinch the whole piece in the center and then tie another piece of twine around that. Just making sure it's as centered as possible and knot it a couple times and spread out all of the little loops and cut off the excess twine. And I make two of those. And then after I have them both made I crisscross them one on top of the other. And just fan out all of the loops and hot glue them together. And then I also took a little sunflower and hot glued that to the center. Next I take my wings and I'm going to hot glue the tips of them together where they'll be meeting and then place them down on the bee body more towards the head. And then I hot glue the twine flower right where those meet. And then I take some twine and make a loop with a large knot on the bottom and hot glue that to the back of the bee head. Last thing I do is flip it back over and put some hot glue on the back of the wings on top of the body where they meet. Just for some extra stability. And that is it for this project. I just love how it turned out and I hope you guys do too. Thank you so much for watching.
