Keep @Carnby: so what? The map is from 1894 so it's public domain. Adding some stupid watermark doesn't add new copyright. Have a look at Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag. Delete There are some later modifications for those maps which make em not really benefit from single PD-scan but could be regarded as DWs, permissions for those later modifications should be provided from hipkiss.org organizers. (PS: I'm not sure if merging of DRs regarding all 3 files to a single DR is proper or not, since there may also be possible on copyrights in regard to different modifications) --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 04:44, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- @Liuxinyu970226: the source map is from hipkiss.org . You seem to assume that the modified maps are also from hipkiss.org. This assumption is incorrect, these maps were modified by a Dutch Wikipedia user. Multichill (talk) 16:24, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  It looks from the original upload log like the uploads to nlwiki were claimed to be the work of the uploader, so they almost certainly specified an appropriate licence, but this was changed to the nlwiki equivalent of {{PD-old}}. The files are now deleted from nlwiki, so we can't see what the original licence was without the assistance of an nlwiki administrator. Maybe Multichill, whose bot uploaded these here and who deleted the files on nlwiki, can help? --bjh21 (talk) 10:54, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
