Summary
editDescriptionHoya carnosa - umbel with nectar droplets.jpg |
English: Hoya carnosa - umbel with conspicuous nectar droplets dangling from some of the downward facing flowers.
Diameter of umbel: 50 mm. The pale pink petals of each flower are completely covered with translucent hairs, which gives the petals a bristly sheen on the perimeter. The nectar produced by the flowers of a single umbel suffice to produce a noticeable honey scent. |
