Description

English: The bakery wrote to me to explain the history of bread in Mota de Cuervo, Cuenca. I copy what they told me: «We are from a town in Cuenca, Mota del Cuervo.

It is a must when you travel to the east. Which made her stop to rest and stretch her legs. In Mota and surroundings, the bread that has always been consumed has been the Candeal or Sobado Bread. A white bread, with compact crumbs, a thin crust and baked in a wood oven. With the passage of time, stopping to rest was the perfect excuse to buy the Pan de la Mota. Thus we have been making ourselves known, through our Bread. This year, the city council has made it possible for our Bread to have its trademark.

And we continue with the tradition ☺️😄 »
