Discontinued after 1949 when Rajasthan province was created and acceded to India, the Sun Procession celebrated the descent of the Maharajah's family from the sun goddess Surya.

This card was sent to a Miss Rosemead in Sussex, England. [Verso] "3.3..32 Lahore. I hope yoou have received the air mail letter I sent off on Modaras with your birthday present. Am longing to get the mail this week to see if anymore were silly enough to get chickenpox! Love from Mother."
