English: Budding wild angelica (Angelica sylvestris) with bud just opened. Growing by a ditch in Gåseberg, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. This was one of about a hundred angelica plants growing along a ditch. Three of them growing under almost identical conditions, were selected for a series to show the development of the bud up to just before blooming. Focus stacking of 8 pictures (using Photoshop)..
