SVG flag at File:Flag of Adygea.svg. Fry1989 eh? 19:39, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The SVG was here first, which means this file has no potential future of use. It is also in an inferior format and blurry. We delete files for this reason all the time. Fry1989 eh? 03:42, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Then you should have mentioned it in the first place, as bad quality and superseded file. --Varied Surf Igloo (talk) 14:53, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Or you could just use your eyes. Fry1989 eh? 17:41, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, did you just make an ad hominem comment? I made reference that when starting a deletion request, you have to provide a reason for that request, and the reason you provided isn't in Commons policy, but when you made the first comment, you provided a correct reason. Sure I could look at the dates and figure out what you were trying to say. I just wanted to make you notice what the word reason means. --Varied Surf Igloo (talk) 18:07, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I nominate files under the reasoning I used for this one almost every day. It's usually very apparent that it is a newly uploaded file of low quality/resolution with a superior SVG that has been here for many years prior, and 99% of the time it is closed without comment because everyone can see why I nominated the file. I shouldn't have to elaborate, which is what you said I should do. Fry1989 eh? 18:16, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It was just my opinion, don't take it personally. --Varied Surf Igloo (talk) 18:23, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
And it was unnecessary, just like your AN that you started before I could even respond here. Fry1989 eh? 18:24, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Varied Surf Igloo, it seems logical that people who take interest in a file to vote on its DR (when we have over 200 new DRs every day) will check the nomination with a modicum of care. You didn’t do it this time, and that’s unfortunate. I hope is was an one-off. -- Tuválkin 22:11, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
