This file was initially tagged by Ahecht as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: If this is based on the version adopted 29 April 2019, as indicated in the edit summary, {{PD-UKGov}} does not apply.

Obviously, a speedy deletion is not acceptable in this case, as we are dealing with a file with very extensive use. This requires discussion. Fry1989 eh? 21:32, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I have also spoken with Zscout370, who uploaded one of the most recent versions based on a document they received from the St. Helena Government. They may seek further permission with their contact for copyrighted free use. They may also comment in this DR soon. Fry1989 eh? 17:54, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I was contacted by Fry1989. In the emails I have sent back and forth to the St Helena Government, I did not ask about licensing. I honestly believe that what we need to do is revert back to the pre-May 2019 version from xrmap and forbid reuploads of the newer arms until we get clarification from the government. The ship and the bird also occur in various other files:
If we do get permission from the St Helena Government, we could convert their official PDF-file into an SVG. TilmannR (talk) 04:22, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Other (is that the correct icon for a custom action?) Depending on the outcome of the request for permission, the worst case scenario is that the file must be revised according to {{Coa blazon}}. --Minoa (talk) 04:56, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
