The permission mail is more than 15 years ago, it's deleted for a long time now. I can't validate the permission today, but this drawing, similar to a technical drawing, is under threshold of originality, isn't it? Kind regards, Doc Taxon (talk) 09:38, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I did find the original photo, on https://www.drpeterwitt.com/spider-web-gallery/ . The website has a copyright sign on the bottom. De Witt died in 1998. Doc Taxon, perhaps you could find out who the heirs are and try to obtain permission for this derivative work. Please follow the procedure of VRT in that case. If succesfull, the image can be undeleted. Ellywa (talk) 07:02, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination and my own conclusion. I will make an alternative for Spidy balloon. This is used on many pages and is made in good faith. --Ellywa (talk) 07:03, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
