English: 81. rocznica spalenia przez Niemców Wielkiej Synagogi w Białymstoku. W poniedziałek (27.06), w 81. rocznicę tej zbrodni, wojewoda podlaski Bohdan Paszkowski uczcił pamięć ofiar, składając kwiaty przed pomnikiem-kopułą przy ul. Suraskiej. W ramach obchodów rocznicy, przed budynkiem PUW, przez tydzień można oglądać wystawę IPN "Niemieckie Obozy Zagłady". Wojewoda podlaski Bohdan Paszkowski w asyście reprezentantów służb mundurowych, przedstawiciele białostockiego oddziału Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej oraz Urzędu Marszałkowskiego Województwa Podlaskiego oddali hołd pomordowanym i wszystkim ofiarom Holokaustu, składając wieńce w miejscu, gdzie 81 lat temu znajdowała się Wielka Synagoga. Dziś o ofiarach dramatycznych wydarzeń przypomina znajdujący się tam pomnik-kopuła Wielkiej Synagogi. |
