הערות: קרְיַת מַלְאָכִי עיר בדרום ליד צומת קסטינה. המקום נוסד ב-1950 כמעברת קסטינה על אדמות הכפר הערבי קסטינה והמחנה קסטינה הבריטי.העיר נקראת על שם העיר לוס אנג'לס (המלאכים) שיהודייה תרמו כספים להקמתה. קריית מלאכי הוכרזה כעיר ב1998. ב 1933 רכש שמואל פומברובסקי, יהודי מארצות הברית, 700 דונם ליד באר טוביה להקמת יישוב יהודי. תוכנית ההתיישבות לא הצליחה והמקום סבל מהתקפות של ערבים. במלחמת העצמאות היו באזור קרבות קשים לבלימת פלישת הצבא המצרי. אחר המלחמה יושב המחנה הצבאי בעולים חדשים. ייסוד קרית מלאכי.
