[edit]DescriptionAmerican Red Cross blood donation appeal (5405523284).jpg |
Looking to raise awareness about the American Red Cross' statewide appeal for blood donations, Governor Dannel P. Malloy donated blood at a drive held at UConn Law School on January 31, 2011. The Red Cross is warning about a low blood supply due to winter storms that have so far caused the cancellation of about 1,800 blood donations in Connecticut. They are holding a two-week appeal for donors through February 15. Information about donating blood can be found at www.redcrossblood.org |
