Description
English: Bochnia is on the Raba River in southern Poland and lies approximately halfway between Tarnów and the regional capital Kraków. Bochnia is most noted for its salt mine, the oldest functioning in Europe, constructed circa 1248. The Main Square in Bochnia is overlooked by an imposing statue of Casimir The Great.
