English: May 31, 2023, members of the Cleveland Browns organization visited NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The group met with Glenn engineers, researchers, and scientists to learn about the center’s work and NASA missions. Tours included:
•Flight Research Building, which houses a T-34C Mentor and Pilatus PC-12NG aircraft used for scientific research and aeronautical test purposes. •Icing Research Tunnel, a refrigerated wind tunnel used to test the effect of ice on aircraft components. •Zero-Gravity Facility, the world’s largest drop tower used to put experiments in a state of simulated weightlessness. •Simulated Lunar Operations Laboratory, a unique lab used to simulate terrain conditions on the Moon and Mars.
